I represent Edie Murray. My husband, George, was a corporal in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot. The 31st was an infantry regiment that came to Pensacola in 1765 and stayed – with a brief transfer to St. Augustine in 1769 – until 1772. George and I had a daughter named Elizabeth. Elizabeth was baptized – probably as an infant – on August 15, 1768.
