I represent Prince. I was a man of color enslaved by Isaac Monsanto. He used me as security on debts at least three time: by instrument dated January 11, 1770, to secure a debt to John Waugh, mariner of London; by instrument dated November 9, 1771, to secure a debt to John Scott; and by instrument dated March 28, 1772, to secure a debtt to John Stuart. On February 20, 1773, John Stuart purchased me from Monsanto.
