Celia

Woman silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent Celia. I was a woman of color enslaved by David Hodge. On July 23, 1771, he sold me to James Bruce and William Godley (for no consideration) in what was apparently a deal to prevent seizure of Hodge’s property by Phillips Comyn.
