Juba

Man silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent Juba. I was a man of color enslaved by Arthur and Elinor Neil. They lived on a plantation called Greenfield near what is now called Bayou Chico. I appear on a plantation inventory dated June 17, 1769. He used me as collateral in January 1768 for a loan from Elias Durnford.
