I represent Caesar, a man of color enslaved by Arthur and Elinor Neil. They lived on a plantation called Greenfield near what is now called Bayou Chico. I appear on a plantation inventory dated June 17, 1769. On an instrument dated April 25, 1769, they used me as security on a debt to Valens Stephen Comyn; however, Jacob Blackwell received use of the slaves.
