I represent Adelaide. I am listed in the 1820 Spanish census of Pensacola as Delaida Suriac, a free woman of color which may indicate a previous connection to the Chouriac family. That census say I was born in 1770 in Mobile, but there is no information about whether I was born free or enslaved. I would go on to have a large family in Pensacola and I would be known as Adelaide Petit.
