Thomas Comyn

I represent Thomas Comyn. I was born in 1755, the son of Thomas and Eleanor Rogers Comyn, I was much younger than my brothers Valens, Frederick, and Phillips, who came to West Florida to managed the business affairs of our father. They all passed away at about the same time, in 1778. I married Doña Maria LaFon in Pensacola, and we had our first child, Maria, in 1778. We had more children, but they were born in what would be called the Second Spanish period. Most records from that period show my name spelled as Commyns. I died somewhere between 1814 and 1819 in Pensacola, and I am buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
