I represent Mrs. Nesbitt. I was on a list of Officer’s Ladies who had died during the years 1765-1767. There was a yellow fever epidemic during that time, which probably claimed me in 1765. My husband is not named on this list, but it may have been Lt. Alexander Nesbitt of His Majesty’s 31 Regiment of Foot, which joined the garrison at Pensacola in 1765.
