I represent Janet Brymer. My husband, John, served in in His Majesty’s 21st Regiment of Foot. The regiment was garrisoned in Mobile and Pensacola from 1765 to 1770. We had a child that was named after me, perhaps because I died on the day that my infant daughter was baptized, September 22, 1768. It is likely I died in childbirth or soon after. I probably still lie in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
