I represent Janet Brymer. I was the daughter of John and Janet Brymer. My father served in His Majesty’s 21st Regiment of Foot, which was garrisoned in Mobile and Pensacola from 1765 to 1768. I was named after my mother, perhaps because she died on the day that I was baptized, September 22, 1768. It is likely she died in childbirth or soon after, and still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
