I represent Isabella Miller. My husband, James, served in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot. We were an infantry regiment garrisoned at Pensacola beginning in 1765. James and I had a daughter named Jane. Jane was baptized – probably as an infant – on February 16, 1769. It is possible I am the Mrs. Miller enumerated in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Capt. Vignoles’ company, in Sept 1768.
