George Watson

I represent George Watson. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period. In October 1777, I petitioned for a grant of land on the Pascagoula River; I stated I had a wife and two children. My name appears on a listing of inhabitants of the town for February 1780, as well as on the Spanish census of the householders remaining in Pensacola at the time of the capitulation in May 1781. I was a ship carpenter and merchant.
