I represent George Parsons. I served in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot, Capt. Archibald Hamilton‘s company. The 31st was an infantry regiment that joined the garrison at Pensacola in 1765, and we immediately began sustaining losses to diseases like yellow fever and dysentery. I died of consumption [tuberculosis] on November 11, 1766. I probably still lie in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
