I represent Catherine Browne. My husband, Andrew, was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. We had a son, Jacob, who died in infancy on December 16, 1770. He probably still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
