I represent Andrew Browne. I was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. I was married to Catherine Browne. We had a son, Jacob, who died in infancy on December 16, 1770. He probably still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
