Capt. Joaquín de Peramas

Military silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent Joaquín de Peramas. I was a captain in the Engineers at Pensacola 1781. I appear in the 1784 Spanish census of Pensacola in a household with the widow Catalina Hernández. According to New Orleans Diocesan records, I died in 1790 “at the Turn in Plaquemines,” as lieutenant colonel of the Royal Corps of engineers.
