I represent Antonia DuFars Lafon. I was born in British Mobile about 1768. In the 1820 Spanish census of Pensacola, I would be the widow Hernandez. My late husband was Don Matias Hernandez, a sub-lieutenant in the Louisiana Regiment, a native of Aragon in Spain. In 1820, I was 52 years old and lived with my four adult children. It is possible I am the daughter of Jean Lafon, who signed the 1764 Oath of Loyalty to King George III in Mobile.
