I represent Alexes. I was a man of color who served under the forces of Gen. Bernardo de Gálvez at Mobile in 1780. I worked on the Spanish fortifications and participated in the battle. I was enslaved by Mr. LeBlanc of Punta Cortada (New Orleans).
