Margaret Krebs Gradenigo

I represent Marguerite Krebs Gradenigo (I am called Margaret Gradenigo in the British records). My parents were French settlers in Mobile. I was a resident of West Florida during the British colonial period. I was married to John Gradenigo, and we had two sons: John and Joseph. They were both baptized on January 17, 1770. Their baptisms were recorded by Rev. Nathanial Cotton, minister of West Florida at the time. According to my husband’s 1767 petition for a grant of land on Lake Pontchartrain, we were a family of 10.
