I represent William Middleton. I served in His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot. We joined the garrison at Pensacola in the spring of 1770. I was married to Ann Middleton, and we had a daughter named Elizabeth. She was baptized – probably as an infant – on July 1, 1770.
