I represent William Gabbot. I was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. I was married to Catherine Gabbot. We had a son, John, who was baptized – likely as an infant – on July 30, 1770.
