I represent the unnamed child of Mrs. Foard, enumerated with her in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Capt. Hodgson’s Company, in Sept 1768. The Return did not identify my father. There was a Samuel Ford in the 31st, married to Katherine, with a child, John. It is possible this is my family.
