Thomas Maistell

I represent Thomas Maistell. I was the gunner on HMS Alarm, a man-of-war of 683 tons and 32 guns that passed easily over the 21-22 foot depths of the entrance to Pensacola Bay. The Alarm was one of the vessels that carried George Gauld on his surveying journeys. I received a lot fronting Roebuck Bay on what is presently Gulf Breeze in 1766.
