I represent John Mitchell. I was a sergeant in His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot. We joined the garrison at Pensacola in the spring of 1770. I was married to Sarah Mitchell. We had a daugther named Margaret Catherine who was baptized – probably as an infant – on August 16, 1770.
