Samuel Robinson

I represent Samuel Robinson. I was a soldier in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot. The 31st was an infantry regiment that joined the garrison of Pensacola in 1765. I was married to Susanna Robinson, and we had a daughter named Elizabeth. She was baptized – probably as an infant – on August 20, 1768. According to the ledger of the Richard and Caleb Carpenter, Pensacola merchants, I purchased cordials, sugar, rum, vinegar, snuff, and candles from them in 1767.
