I represent Robert Craig. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British period. In early 1768 I petitioned the council for 10 acres on the Red Cliffs (which the Spanish would later call Barrancas). I was the Pilot of the Bar and Harbor at Pensacola and I needed a place I had a clear lookout over the Bar. I was granted one acre on Rose Island (Santa Rosa) and 1 acre on the Red Cliff.
