I represent Margaret Hill. My husband, Thomas, was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. We had a son, James. He was baptized – probably as an infant – on July 10, 1770.
