I represent Joseph Pinosse. I was a Spanish private taken prisoner by HMS Mentor. The record does not give the details of my capture, but the Mentor took several Spanish vessels as prizes during 1780, before its attention was taken by the invasion of Gálvez‘ forces. I died December 5, 1780 in Pensacola while in captivity.
