Joseph Henry

I represent Joseph Henry. I was a sailor from a Spanish ship taken prisoner by the HMS Mentor. The record does not say which ship I was with when I was captured, but the Mentor took several Spanish vessels as prizes during 1780, before its attention was taken by the invasion of Gálvez‘ forces. I died on December 6, 1780 in captivity in Pensacola, likely of illness. I may still lie in an unmarked grave there.
