I represent James Morgan. I was a sailor on HMS Alarm, a man-of-war of 683 tons and 32 guns that passed easily over the 21-22 foot depths of the entrance to Pensacola Bay. The Alarm was one of the vessels that carried George Gauld on his surveying journeys around the Gulf Coast. I died on May 23, 1765.
