James Mitchell

Military silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent James Mitchell. I served in His Majety’s 16th Regiment of foot, which joined the garrison at Pensacola in the spring of 1770. My wife’s name was Catherine, and we had a son named James. He died, presumably in childhood, on October 8, 1770. He probably still lies buried in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
