I represent James Kirk. I was a planter and merchant in West Florida during the British period. I had at least a couple of tracts of land, one being 1,320 acres on the Escambia River, about 20 miles from the town of Pensacola. I appear on the Spanish list of people living in Pensacola at the time of the capitulation in May 1781.
