I represent Isaac Steers. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period. I was married to Emiliy Sydney Steers, who was baptized as an adult on August 16, 1768. This is unusual; in the 18th century, the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of England tended to baptize in infancy. Emily might have an interesting story, if only we knew it.
