I represent Hannah Ogilby. I owned a boardinghouse in New Orleans, back before ther were such strict rules about the British going back and forth into Spanish territory. But as revolutionary politics began to divide the town, I became an outspoken Loyalist and would kick out anyone who espoused American rebel ideals. The Spanish finally got tired of my causing trouble; they confiscated my belongings and threw me in jail for twenty-four days. After I got out, I took my small daughter and fled to Pensacola.
