I represent Francisco Cabrera. I was a Spanish sailor taken prisoner by the HMS Mentor. The record does not say which ship I was with when I was captured, but the Mentor took several Spanish vessels as prizes during 1780, before its attention was taken by the invasion of Galvez‘ forces. I died on December 9, 1780 in captivity in Pensacola, likely of illness.
