I represent Euphan Adamson. I am the daughter of William and Margaret Adamson. My father was in Pensacola garrison with the Royal Artillery. I was baptized – most likely as an infant – on January 21, 1769. (“Euphan” is an interesting name, isn’t it? It’s a Scottish variation of “Euphemia,” and that probably gives some clues as to my family’s heritage. I was likely called “Fanny” or perhaps “Effie” as a nickname.)
