I represent Elizabeth Creek. My husband, Thomas, was attached to His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot. We arrived at the garrison of Pensacola in the spring of 1770. We had two daughters: Anne, who died of convulsions on November 30, 1770 at the age of 20 months; and Anne Eleanor, who was baptized on June 3, 1771. Little Anne lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
