I represent Diego Fernández. I was a corporal in the Louisiana battalion. I was born in 1743 in Avia, Estremadura, Spain. I served in the forces of Gen. Bernardo de Gálvez at Manchac, Baton Rouge, Mobile, and Pensacola. I was promoted to ensign before I retired in 1803. I died in New Orleans in 1816.
