I represent Gilbert Antoine de St. Maxent. I was a Colonel of the Royal Army and the Captain of the fixed Regiment of New Orelans. I fought at Manchac, Baton Rouge, Mobile, and Pensacola. I was born in 1721 in Lorraine, France. My wife was Elizabeth de la Roche. I had at least one son, Francisco, who also fought at Pensacola with the New Orleans Regiment. One of my daughters married Gen. Bernardo de Gálvez. I died in 1794 in New Orleans.
