I represent Catherine Gabbot. My husband, William, was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. We had a son, John, who was baptized – likely as an infant – on July 30, 1770.
