I represent Antoine Hilarion Bausset. I was a lieutenant-general of the French Navy. Allied with General Bernardo de Gálvez, I landed at Pensacola in 1781 and aided in driving the English out of the Florida. I was born in 1726 in Marseille. I entered the service at the age of 12 – not terribly young for those days. I fought in the Seven Years’ War before the American Revolution, 24 campaigns altogether during my career.
