I represent Ann Billop Farmar. I was the daughter of Maj. Robert and Mary Anderson Farmar. I was born in British West Florida and baptized – probably as an infant – on March 28, 1769. My baptism was in the records of Rev. Nathaniel Cotton. I had four younger siblings. I grew up in Mobile and on our plantation in Baldwin County. My father died in 1778. My mother took the younger children back to England, but I married Lieutenant John Lewis Barde in Mobile. I died in Pennsylvania in 1796.
