I represent Richard Morrell. I was a private in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot, Capt. George Maxwell’s Company. The 31st was an infantry regiment that joined the garrison of Pensacola in 1765. I died of consumption [tuberculosis] on July 20, 1766. I probably still lie in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
