I represent Willam Moore. I am listed as a member of the staff of the garrison at Ft. George at the surrender on May 10, 1781. My role was wagon master. I would have worked under the Quarter Master and handled logistics of transporting supplies and ammunition to troops, maintained the wagons, and managed the draft animals. I probably went to Long Island, New York, with the other prisoners of war and survivors of the siege of Pensacola.
