I represent the child of Mrs. Miller enumerated with her in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Capt. Vignoles’ company, in Sept 1768. My father is not named in that Return. It is possible my parents were James and Isabella Miller of the 31st, but that has not been established by available evidence. If they are my parents, Jane (baptized in February 1769) would be my younger sibling.
