Thomas McMin

I represent Thomas McMin. I was a merchant ship captain on the Gulf Coast during the British period. I was the skipper of a snow called Indian Trader. (A snow is a two-masted, square-rigged vessel similar to a brig. If you don’t know what that means, just know that it was fast, agile, and could carry a lot of cargo.) Before the war started, I made a run between Savannah, Jamaica, and West Florida, and occasionally went to London. I carried trade goods and communications within and beyond the colonies.
