I represent Frances Margaret McDonagh. I was the wife of Terence McDonagh, who commanded a packet – a mid-size vessel that carried mail, official correspondence, and passengers among the colonies and back to England. According to the parish records of Westminster, London, Terence was a widower when we married in July of 1770, and my maiden name was Thompson. Our daughter, Martha Lucy, was born on May 14, 1771 and baptized on May 26.
