I represent James Juan. I was a sergeant with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, which joined the garrison at Pensacola in the spring of 1770. I was married to Sarah Juan. We had a son, James Famous Juan, who was baptized (probably as an infant) on September 23, 1770.
