I represent Wiliam Johnson. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British period. I appeared in a Spanish list of inhabitants that remained in Pensacola at the time of the capitulation in May 1781. That list identified me as a Pilot. Harbor pilots were quite valued for navigating ships through to the port of Pensacola.
