I represent William Humphrey, the son of Alexander and Esther Humphrey. My father served in His Majesty’s 21st Regiment of Foot. The regiment was garrisoned in Mobile and Pensacola from 1765 to 1770. I was baptized – probably as an infant – on October 24, 1768.
